How these projections, perceived as masculine,\u00a0feminine, androgynous or &#8220;in between&#8221;, determine design\u00a0processes as\u00a0well as use and communication is part of the subject of this area of expertise.<\/h2>\n<div>In addition to the\u00a0classical methods of the social and cultural sciences, forms of\u00a0&#8220;research-based learning&#8221; and &#8220;research through design&#8221; are\u00a0practiced and qualified as cognitive processes. The aim is to gain\u00a0a profound understanding of the mechanisms of &#8220;doing\u00a0<span class=\"il\">gender<\/span>&#8221; and to\u00a0develop criteria for\u00a0<span class=\"il\">gender<\/span>-sensitive design.<strong>The professorship\u00a0is currently vacant, but is covered by KISD faculty and teaching assignments.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We understand\u00a0gender\u00a0as a social and cultural construction that essentially shapes all\u00a0everyday perception and action.
