The lectures are public events and provide students and the public with an overall topic for each semester, for example &#8220;Speed&#8221; (winter term 15\/16) or &#8220;Desire&#8221;(summer term 2016). Subsequently, each area of expertise and the respective KISD professors will elaborate on this topic and contribute to it by a KISDlecture.
