Matthias Grund, research associate at KISD, receives the renowned photography award gute aussichten – junge deutsche fotografie / new german photography.
With his work “Other Images” he convinced the renowned jury, consisting of personalities from the art and culture scene and internationally renowned photographers, and is one of a total of seven award winners.
For 20 years, gute aussichten has been promoting young photo artists and introducing them to the public through various activities, including group exhibitions at leading German institutions.
The first exhibition opens on Thursday, July 4 at the Haus der Fotografie of Landesmuseum Koblenz on Festung Ehrenbreitstein and runs until November 3. Further exhibitions are planned at the Städtische Galerie Karlsruhe and the Deichtorhallen Hamburg.
