Students of KISD – Köln International School of Design will from Friday, September 23, present their KISD project “Absent Horse“ at Dortmund FAVORITEN theater and arts festival 2016.
KISD is hereby closely cooperating with renowned dance and performance group “Billinger & Schulz“ and will exhibit kinetic installations, final sculptures, bodies and objects via dance, movement, and design: a mechanical horse is marching on the spot, sheets are hovering in midair, spots of light can’t stop galloping up and down. Distinctions blur, what is object, what subject, and distinct patterns of classification and interpretation of the past, present, and future do evaporate.
Curious? – Apart from Dortmund FAVORITEN festival, the project results and performances of “Absent Horse“ will also be exhibited at REWORK Düsseldorf from October 7 to October 9.
