Collaborating with national and internationally renowned design and architecture firms, KISD – Köln International School of Design will in the context of the project “Two Point Five“ in January 2017 transform its exhibition halls into a Pop Up Hostel for one week. Students of KISD asked designers and architects how much space they could generate with 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 meters using only the simplest materials. Students also worked in conjunction with the designers to build the student hostel. During the exhibition, visitors of“ imm cologne“ trade fair from all over the world will be using the rooms for accommodation (for booking requests please contact twopointfive@kisd.de). “Two Point Five“, supervised by KISD professor Wolfgang Laubersheimer, Sebastian Heilmann, and Gerd Mies, is part of the “PASSAGEN 2017“, Interior Design Week Cologne, public exhibition.

Opening hours: The public exhibition is opened daily from January 17 until January 22 from 2 pm until 8 pm. The vernissage will be on January 16 starting 7 pm. “Two Point Five“ is a public event and free of charge.
