From December 6 until December 8, KISD – Köln International School of Design will at Cologne Ebertplatz, in a joint project with KHM (Academy of Media Arts Cologne), exhibit selected pieces from the “text & form” 2019 summer term project, supervised by KISD professor Michael Gais.
How does “form” affect “text” and what are the mutual discrepancies and similarities? Which form fits or misfits? Which text is suitable for a form or which form/text makes it possible/impossible for the other component to exist/non-exist? The project’s objective was to generate different perspectives on visual language with a wide range of exhibits from various design disciplines – now shown digitally, interactively, or sculpturally.
