Jonas Hansen
Jonas Hansen is a designer and media artist who works as a professor of Design and Mediatechnology at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle in the Multimedia|VR Design programme. Before that he was teaching at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. He is co-founder of the Dutch media art collective z25.org (2003) and the Cologne based Paidia Institute (2009). In his artistic work Jonas Hansen develops interactive systems and experimental games, that often explore the boundaries between the real and the virtual world. With the Paidia Institute he works on aesthetic and social relationships of design, art and technology with a core focus on play.
