Roosje Klap is an Amsterdam based studio named after the studio’s founder and art director. After graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Klap succeeded to found her studio in 2008. Exploring experimental boundaries of custom fit design, the studio works mainly for cultural institutions, known museums as well as art galleries and artists like JRP Ringier, Valiz, Revolver, Ridinghouse, the Van Abbemuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.
Together with Niels Schrader, Klap is head of the Graphic Design Department at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Along with fifteen designers from other cultures and levels, Klap initiated a new design research collective called the „Design Displacement Group“ where in which collaborations work under the notion of post signature.
