On Thursday, January 12, KISD – Köln International School of Design of TH Köln will be hosting the “Service Design and Innovation Conference“. The conference, organized by the “Service Design and Innovation Network (SDIN)“, will provide interested participants with an overview on the latest research in service design and innovation, will discuss the theoretical, methodological, and practical framework of the discipline and its impact on industry and society, and will by case studies, workshops, and lectures illustrate latest developments in the realm of service design.

With participants coming from the area of industry, business, and science, for example Fraunhofer-Institute, VW, Swisscom, and Toshiba, the conference serves as a good opportunity to foster the dialog between service design, science, and companies in order to enable and enhance mutual cooperation and exchange.

The conference will be held in the English language at KISD – Köln International School of Design, an institute of TH Köln, Ubierring 40, 50678 Cologne, from 9.30 am to 5 pm. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie-Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement.
