What do we find if we open a black box? This lecture by KISD professor Dr. Lasse Scherffig (area of expertise: interaction Design) looks at computers as black boxes and asks what is inside of them, revealing at least two protagonists. Tracing their role in interacting with computers, the lecture discusses questions of agency, automation, artificial intelligence, and our principal inability to design interaction.
