Tuesday, December 1, 5:30 pm (CET)
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, possibilities for travelling around the globe and welcoming domestic and international guest speakers are, unfortunately, quite limited. Nonetheless, KISDinternational will be hosting some online lectures in the context of our lecture series of the KISDtalks in which some of our partner universities will be given the chance to present themselves and their study opportunities. On Tuesday, December 1, 5:30 pm, KISD – Köln International School of Design “goes Latin America”. Professor Diego Alatorre Guzmán will be introducing to the interested online audience the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
Subsequently, Professor Aguinaldo dos Santos, Head of the Design & Sustainability Research Center, will talk about the design degree courses at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) in Curitiba, Brazil.
At the end of the KISDtalk “KISD goes Latin America”, KISD students Maximilian Beck and Benjamin Bräuer will share the experiences they made while studying at the Universidad de Valparaíso, Chile. This will be followed by a Q&A from some KISD guest students being currently in Cologne who are originally from Brazil: Luiz Siqueira and Natalia Grein and from Mexico: Kalia Ruiz and Carolina Corona, who will be looking forward to answering your questions.
