The City of Cologne approved eleven different projects with a total budget of 100,000 euros for this year’s “Equality between women and men” funding program. A KISD project was also included.
“Empower XR” is a practice-oriented research project to promote young women* in Augumented and Virtual Reality (XR) and looks at possible measures for gender-equitable education and career guidance in relation to XR professions. For example, a three-part workshop series of inclusive guest lectures is planned.
The project was applied for by Prof. Iris Utikal and MA student Paulina Porten.
