With an integrative approach, the »Real-Time City« research center combines various characteristics and approaches of urban and design research – from theoretical research, which opens up new content-related and methodological approaches to the city and design, to the empirical investigation of urban, cultural, societal, social, economic and ecological phenomena in the past and present, to the concrete application of innovative methods and technologies to generate new city-related artifacts, systems, processes and tools.
