Curriculum Vitae

Andreas Wrede studied at the Faculty of Arts in the Department of Communication Design as well as design in the ”Cologne Model“ at the Faculty of Humanities of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
Diploma (1995) supervised by Prof. em. Heinz Bähr, Prof. em. Heiner Jacob and
Prof. em. Dr. hc. Gui Bonsiepe.

He taught as a lecturer at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and the Köln International School of Design (2000-2010).

A founding member of the German Society for Design Theory and Research and founder of causa formalis (1996). Design and consultancy in the field of corporate identity design corporate communications and branding. Among other things for: FEI World Equestrian Games Aachen, DGUV – German statutory accident insurance, HRK – Hochschulrektorenkonferenz, Interior Ministry of the North Rhine-Westphalia, ECB – European Central Bank, …

2010 Andreas Wrede as Professor was appointed at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences Cologne. His Area of expertise is identity and design at the Köln International School of design.
