Presentation and intervention at the Cologne Ebertplatz: What about us, Europe?
Which aspects of Europe‘s past are worth to consider ? Do you feel privileged – How does this influence your connection to others? Which aspect of culture would you like to see as a part of European identity? What is the main challenge that Europe is facing? In your everyday life or more generally in Europe, where do you see a lack of solidarity? How would you feel about a future without the E.U? How can we make Europe great again ? When and how did you stand up for someone else?
A total of 20 questions were developed by students from France (ENSCI Paris) and Cologne (KISD) – as the basis for reflections and dialogues that were intended to address the importance of Europe for young Europeans beyond the borders of the EU. The central motif was the potato, which was peeled by visitors on site and interested participants via video submission while they reflected on one of the questions.
Visitors were able to find out more about the project in a supporting program, make their own contributions and enter into dialogue with partners from Ukraine, Estonia, Portugal, Italy, France and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
